I'll be honest, I did not know what to expect when I was going to listen to the Alchimist ASW-5050 spare tire subwoofer. But I have to say it absolutely blew my mind! My first thought was that I wouldn't be able to hear or feel it since it was all the way in the trunk under a layer of carpet and trunk. But I was so wrong! It was some of the cleanest bass I have ever heard. For an 8 inch sub it was super powerful shaking the rearview mirror without distorting at all. Its a powered sub that has the amplifier built-in, and comes with everything you'll need to install into your car - from a high quality wiring kit to a remote control that gives you full access over Gain Control, Bass Boost, and the Low Pass Filter from the front of your car. It fits nice and snug overtop any spare tire and comes with a tightening screw that will keep it in place so you don't have to worry about the sub moving around while you are driving or playing music.
